We're Nathan Rubin, Kelvin Danforth, and Petru Cojocaru — three college students from three corners of Massachusetts who started Re:Site Studio because half the local businesses we love can't be found on Google. Not because they don't deserve to be, but because nobody's ever built them a real website at a price they'd actually pay.

The agency in your strip mall quotes $5,000. The freelancer your nephew knows wants $2,800. Wix wants you to spend three weekends learning their builder. Meanwhile your competition's already on page one.

Is the quality going to be bad?

No. The reason agencies can charge $5,000 isn't that they build prettier sites — it's that they spend two weeks on proposals, hand-offs, and approval cycles. We use the same modern tools, skip the overhead, and pass the savings on. A portfolio of finished builds is coming to this page soon; in the meantime, text us before you pay and we'll walk you through our design approach.

Can I get a custom design / logo / e-commerce store?

Not from us — those are the things we deliberately don't offer. If you need a full custom design or a 50-product Shopify store, we'll refer you to someone who specializes. We do one thing well: a real local-business website, fast, for under $1,000.

Do I have to sign up for the $120/month Care Plan?

No. The Care Plan is completely optional. You pay $449 or $949 once and the site is yours forever, hosting included for the first year. After year one you can keep paying us $120/month to handle everything, or you can take over yourself and pay for hosting directly (about $30/mo).

What if you go out of business?

The site is yours, on a domain registered in your name, hosted on standard platforms (Squarespace or Netlify). If we vanished tomorrow, you'd still own everything — and any web developer in town could take it over. There's no proprietary platform you'd lose access to.

How is this different from Wix or an AI website builder?

It's not, technically — we use a mix of Squarespace, Webflow, and AI-assisted tools under the hood. The difference is we set everything up, design it, write the copy, take or pick the photos, do the SEO, sync your Google Business Profile, and keep it running. You skip the three weekends of learning a builder. That's what the $449 or $949 buys you.

What if I'm not happy?

We won't leave you unhappy. There's no revision count on these builds — we work with you, take your feedback, and keep iterating until what we built is something you love. Text us, tell us what's off, we'll fix it. We're not handing you something half-finished and walking off.

Do you offer refunds?

No. The $100 down payment is non-refundable — it covers the time we spend understanding your shop and starting the build. After you pay the remaining balance on launch day, that's also non-refundable. The trade-off is that whatever we've built for you is yours to keep, on a domain in your name, hosted on a standard platform. If you walk away, you walk away with a working website — just not with the money back.
